Richard is a musician living in North Queensland,
- Playing and being associated with brass bands was initially part of growing up and my early to mid 20’s played regularly with the Salvation Army bands both in NZ and Overseas, having played on mission band trips through the Pacific Islands, Australia, then invited to play in Canadian, European brass bands in the Netherlands and Germany.
- In recent years playing out with orchestral trumpet concertos till working shifts made it a little difficult to make a full commitment with these accomplished bands and orchestras. However, have still attended and played in military parades where required making use of my cornet and practicing every spare moment I can
